P-39 Airacobra Group Build

newoldguy starts us of with the first finsihed build. A Hasegawa P-400 in a Soviet scheme.
Except for a few touch ups in places only I know about, I finished up my 'Cobra too.  I chose the markings for the unusual bare metal on a P-39.  It is the Eduard kit with Cutting Edge decals and resin cockpit, Quickboost resin engine and Eduard photo flaps.

jeanto01 comes in with a 1/48 MPM P-63A Kingcobra.  The kit put up a good fight, but he came out on top.
Jaypack55 comes in with his Eduard kit.  The exhaust stains may get re-done, but he's like me... itching to get to the next project.
Mucker crosses the finish line with an Accurate Miniatures P-39Q
with Bud Anderson's "old Crow" makings
ScottD finishes his Hasegawa P-400 backed up to an F with a set of AIR-A-CUTIE markings.
Jeff has completed his Eduard P-400 as "Wahl Eye II" .  The kit supplied masks were used to paint the wing walks and black background for the shark mouth.
Bud has finished his P-39 in a South Pacific scheme.  Nice kit from the looks of it and a job well done.  Looks almost like a 1/48th scale kit.
MPH34 completes hid P-400 "Jumpin'-Jacque".  The teeth look great on this bird.
Dave jumps in with his Eduard P-39Q.  The project was delayed due to the arrival of a little 1:1 project he and his wife had going in a build of their own.  Congratulations on both completions Dave.
hkshooter finishes up his Eduard 1/48 P-39.  he almost fell victim to the 1 of the few problems with the kit.  The fuselage is wider than the canopy.  A little pinch at the bulkhead and he did fine job.
Steve B. finishes up his 'Cobra with some British markings.
