A slight diversion from the usual aircraft builds, but still aircraft related. When I see a beautifully executed figure, either standing alone or in a diorama, I tell myself that I have to try that one day. This was a fun project. Building was fairly straight forward, but there is a lot of painting...I repeat... A LOT of painting. While I like all aspects of an aircraft build, I have come to realize that detail painting in this amount is not my cup of tea. Paint jars all over the place, mixing colors to try to get it right and if I never have to clean a brush again, it will be too soon. I am not sure how quickly I will be running out to buy another figure. To all you Figure and Diorama modelers, I take my hat off to you.
